Series 900 Isolation Valves

Series 700 Isolation Valves

The series 900 Gauge Cocks have Drop Forged Steel Bodies, Stainless Steel Trim and Safety Ball Checks to shut off the flow automatically if the glass should break. The ball can be omitted upon request. They have renewable seats and union bonnet. The 900 series gauge cocks can be changed from plain to quick closing by replacing the bonnet sleeve and stem. When specified the stem can be furnished for Backseating which permits repacking while under pressure. This is accomplished by backing out the stem to its limit so that the knob on the end of the stem seats against the sleeve which stops the fluid from reaching the packing. The various types of connections that are available make the series 900 cocks adaptable for most piping requirements.

The special Offset feature was designed to facilitate easy cleaning of the inside of the gauge. The drain and vent connections are in a direct line with the gauge liquid chamber and are offset 7/8″ from the center line of the vessel connection. It is possible to clean the inside of an end connected gauge through the drain and vent connections without removing the gauge from service.

The union gauge connections when used on end connected gauges makes it possible to turn the gauge to any desired angle for the most convenient visibility; when connected to the side of the gauge, it is possible to mount the gauge in an inclined position at any desireable angle.

The union vessel connections makes installation easier and provides access to the ball check.

Gauge cocks furnished with Handwheel operation.
