Reliable Performance in Cryogenic and Low-Temperature Service — Down to -325°F
Northeast Controls Frost Proof Level Gages feature special visibility extensions that prevent frost buildup from obscuring the viewing area in low-temperature and cryogenic applications. Standard frost proof models are available for temperatures as low as -325°F, with all stainless steel construction required below -150°F.
The frost proof design incorporates extended glass chambers that keep the viewing glass surface away from the cold process fluid, reducing condensation and frost accumulation on the exterior glass surface. This ensures operators can read liquid levels clearly even in extremely cold environments.
Available on both reflex and transparent gauge styles across all pressure series. Transparent frost proof models are particularly valuable in cryogenic applications where liquid/vapor interface visibility is critical for safe operation.
